“Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you;

I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.

I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse;

and All peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Genesis 12:1-3

Abram The Hebrew

Genesis 14:13  Then a fugitive came and told Abram the Hebrew. Now he was living by the oaks of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol and brother of Aner, and these were allies with Abram.”

*”All” includes Ismael and the six children Abraham had with his second wife Keturah:

Name Changing Covenants

Abram and his wife Sari had an AH added to their names.   They became, Abraham and Sarah.

“No longer shall your name be called Abram, But your name shall be Abraham; For I will make you the father of a multitude of nations.” Genesis 17:5

“Then God said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall be her name.” Genesis 17:15

The next name change was Y’aacob or Jacob, (Ya’acob), Abraham’s grandson.  His name is changed to Israel when he is blessed with the same Covenant of his grandfather Abraham and his father Isaac.

“God said to him, “Your name is Jacob; You shall no longer be called Jacob, But Israel shall be your name.” Thus He called him Israel. Genesis 35:10

Jacob’s Name Change is The Origin of Israel

“I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven, and will give your descendants all these lands; and by your descendants All the Nations of the earth shall be blessed; Genesis 26:4

The Meaning of Israel is Given

“Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but Israel; for you have striven with God and with men and have prevailed.” Genesis 32:28

Israel had Twelve Son’s Called The Twelve Tribes of Israel

‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah, for out of you will come a ruler who will be the shepherd of My people Israel.’”  Matthew 2:6Micah 5:2

Y’suha, The First and The Last, The Promised Seed From The Beginning

“And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He (The promised Seed) shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel.” Genesis 3:15

The Hebrew idiom, “He shall bruise you on the head,”  means He will have victory (prevail, overcome) over His adversary the serpent (the satan/adversary).

“These are the words of the First and the Last, who died and returned to life.” Revelation 2:8; Revelation 1:17Revelation 22:13Isaiah 48:12Isaiah 44:6

Our Hebrew Messiah crossed over from Death to Life.

We Are All Called to Cross Over From Death to Life

A Kingdom where The One and Only Life Giver rules and there is no division; no Jewish or non-Jewish religious divisions, not even between male or female, slave or free, because we are All One in His Spirit.

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are All One in (Christ Jesus) Messiah Yehoshua,” Galatians 3:28
