Proverbs Chapter 7 With Hebrew

Proverbs Chapter 7

1.  My son, (בֵּן ben 1121) keep, (שָׁמַר shamar #8104) My Words, (אֵמֶר emer #561 from amar), and treasure, (צָפַן tzephan 6845) My Commandments, (מִצְוָה mitzvah #4687 from tzavah), within, (אֵת eth #854).
2.  Keep, (שָׁמַר Shamar #8104) My Commandments, (מִצְוָה Mitzvah #4687) and Live, (חָיָה Chayah #2421) and My Direction/Instruction, (תּוֹרָה Torah #8451), as the apple,  (אִישׁוֹן ishon #380 from ish) of your eye, (עַיִן ayin #5869).
3.  Bind, (קָשַׁר Qashar #7194) them on your fingers, (אֶצְבַּע etzba’a #676) write, (כָּתַב kathab #3789) them on the tablet, (לוּח luach #3871) of your heart, (לֵב leb #3820 from lebab).
4.  Say, (אָמַר Amar #559) to Wisdom, (חָכְמָה Chokmah #2451 from Chakam) you are my sister, (אָחוֹת achoth #269 same as ach) and call, (קָרָא qara #7121) Understanding Wisdom, (בִּינָה Binah 998 from Bin), your nearest kin, (מוֹדַע moda 4129 from yada).
5.  They will keep, (שָׁמַר shamar #8104) you from the stranger/immoral, (זוּר zoor #2114) woman, (אִשָּׁה ishshah 802), the foreigner, (נָכְרִי nokri 5237), who divides, ( חָלַק chalaq #2505) with her words, (אֵמֶר emer #561 from amar).
6.  For, (כִּי Ki #3588) at the window, (חַלּוֹן chalon #2474 from chalal) of my house, (בּיִת bayith #1004) I looked down, (שָׁקַף shaqaph #8259) through, (בְּעַד ba’ad #1157) my lattice, (אֶשְׁנָב eshnab #822)
7.  and saw, (רָאָה raah #7200) among the naive, (פְתִי pithy #6621) Understanding, (בִּין Bin #995), among the children, (בֵּן ben #1121) the youth, (נַעַר na’ar #5288) lacking, (חָסֵר chaser #2638) heart, (leb 3820).
8.  Passing through, (עָבַר A’abar #5674) the street, (שׁוּק shook #7784) near, (אֵצֶל atzel #681) her corner, (פִנָּה pinah #6438) he steps/marches, (צָעַד tza’ad #6805) in the way, (דֶּרֶךְ derek #1870 from darak) of her house, (בּיִת bayith #1004).
9.  In the twilight, ( נֶשֶׁף nesheph #5399 from nashaph) of the day, (יוֹם yom #3117) in the apple of the eye/pupil/blackness, (אִישׁוֹן ishon #380 from ish) of night, (לַיִל layil #3915) in darkness, (אֲפֵלָה aphelah #653 ophel)
10.  behold, (הִנֵּה Hineh #2009 Hen) a woman, (אִשָּׁה ishshah #802), met him, (קִרְאָה qirah #7125 from qara) dressed, (שִׁית shith #7897) as a harlot, (זָנָה zanah #2181), guarding/concealing, (נָצַר natsar #5341), her heart, (לֵב leb #3820 from lebab).
11.  She is loud, (הָמָה hamah #1993) and rebelliously stubborn, (סָרַר sarar #5637) her foot, (רֶגֶל regel #7272), cannot (לֹא lo #3808) stay, (שָׁכַן shakan #7931) in her own house, (בּיִת bayith #1004).
12.  Now, (פַעַם pa’am #6471) outside, (חוּץ chotz #2351) now, (פַעַם pa’am #6471) in the open square, (רְחֹב r’chob #7339 from rachab) within, (אֵצֶל etzel #681) all/every, (כֹּל kol #3605) corner, (פִנָּה pinah #6438) she lies in wait, (אָרַב arab #693).
13.  She seized, (חָזַק chazaq #2388) him and kissed, (נָשַׁק nashaq #5401) him and with a strong/brazen (עָזַז a’azaz #5810)) face, ( פָנִים paniym #6440 from panam) she said, (amar #559),

14.  I have upon me, (עַל a’al #5921 from alah) a peace, (שֶׁלֶם shelem #8002 from shalam) offering, (זֶבַח zebach #2077 from zabach) today, (יוֹם yom #3117) I complete, (שָׁלַם shalam #7999) my vow, (נֶדֶר neder #5088).
15.  Upon, (עַל A’al #5921) which, (כֵּן ken #3651) I have come out, (יָצָא yatza #3318) to seek, (שָׁחַר shachar #7836) your face, (פָנִים paniym #6440) and I have found, (מָצָא matzah #4672) you.
16.  I have spread, (רָבַד rabad #7234) my couch, (עֶרֶשׂ e’ers #6210) with coverings/tapestry, (מַרְבַד marbad #4765) of fine linen, (אֵטוּן etoon #330) from Egypt, (מִצְרַיִם Mitzraim #4714).
17.  I have sprinkled, (נוּף noof #5130) my bed, (מִשְׁכָּב mishkab #4909) with myrrh, (מֹר mor #4753 from marar) aloes, (אֲהָלִים ahaliym #174) and cinnamon, (קִנָּמוֹן qinamon #7076).
18.  Come, (הָלַךְ Halak #1980) uncle/beloved, (דּוֹד dod #1730) let us take our fill, (רָוָה ravah #7301) until, (עַד a’ad #5704 from adah) morning, (בֹּקֶר boqer #1242 from baqar); let us delight, (עָלַס a’alas #5965) ourselves with caresses/love, (אַֹהַב ohab #159 from aheb).
19.  For, (כִּי Ki #3588) my husband, (אִישׁ ish #376) is not, (אַיִן ain) at home, (בּיִת bayith #1004) he is gone, (הָלַךְ halak #1980) on a long, (רָחוֹק rachoq #7350 from rachaq) journey, (דֶּרֶךְ derek #1870 from darak).
20.  He took a bag full of silver with him and won’t be home until the full moon, (כֶּסֶא kese #3677).
21.  With her many, (רֹב rob #7230 from rabab) persuasions, (לֶקַח leqach #3948) she seduces (נָדַח nadach #5080) him, sharing, (חֵלֶק chaleq #2506) lips, (שָׂפָה saphah #8193) she entices/yields, (נָטָה natah #5186) him.
22.  Immediately he follows her like an Ox going to the slaughter, as a fool in the stocks for correction, (מוּסָר musar #4148 from yasar).
23.  Until an arrow, (חֵץ chatz #2671 from chatzatz) splits open, (פָלַח palach #6398) his liver, (כָּבֵד kabade #3516 from kabad) as a bird rushing into a snare, he does not know it will cost him his life, (נֶפֶשׁ nephesh #5315).
24.  Now Hear, (שָׁמַע Shama #8085) Me children, (בֵּן ben #1121) Listen, (קָשַׁב Qashab #7181) to the Words, (אֵמֶר Aymer #561 from Amar) of My mouth, (פֶה peh #6310).
25.  Do not let your heart, (לֵב lab #3820) from lebab) wander, (תָּעָה taa’ah #8582) to her way, do not turn, (שָׂטָה satah #7847) into her pathway, (נָתִיב nathyb #5410).
26.  For, (כִּי Ki #3588) many, (רַב rab #7227) are her slain, (חָלָל chalal #2491) and cast down, (נָפַל napal #5307) are all, (כֹּל kol #3605 from kalal) the numerous, (עָצוּם a’atzum #6099) she destroys, (harag #2026).
27.  Her house, (בּיִת bayith #1004) is the way, (דֶּרֶךְ derek #1870 from darak) to the Grave, (שְׁאוֹל Sheol #7585), going down, (יָרַד yarad #3381) to the chambers, (חֶדֶר cheder #2315 from chadar) of death, (מָוֶת maveth #4194 from muth).
